On the second day, the students of grade 8-Charles had a fellowship session to welcome me, Kisna, and Ris. The fellowship session was actually a sharing session about Indonesian and Filipino cultures. We taught the students of Grade 8-Charles some words in Bahasa. We chose the words of Filipino or Ilocano that had similar meaning with Bahasa such as ibu, putih, mangan, langit, api, hidung, pintu, etc. They were very antucuastic hahaha. The students told me that they were glad because of meeting foreign teachers from another country and could meet us as the real-form Indonesian in front of them. Wow, interesting!

We introduce a song from Indonesia entitled "Kasih Ibu. You know what? They sang enthusiastically. They want us to tell what Kasih Ibu about. That was so fun activites to have games and sing along. At the end of the session, we ate together. Ma’am Bacister together with the Grade 8 Archimedes prepared all the food. I felt very honored to be here because all of the students were very enthusiastic to know us as foreigners.

Through the fellowship session, I think we already close  each other, not only inside the class but also outside the class. Hahahhaa
